Agile is thrilled to announce we are launching our brand-new Broker Portal, a powerful tool designed exclusively for you.

Agile’s NEW Broker Portal ensures easy navigation, allowing you to swiftly find the information you need and creating a more modern look and feel to your portal experience.

The first launch of our portal for all current users is scheduled for late March. The new portal will still include all our current products to existing regions but with a great new broker experience, streamlined automated renewals, and efficient quote-bind-issue processes.

Important to note:

• There will be future changes to direct billing options, payment plan process and monthly statements. More to come from your Agile Accounting team, via email.
• There will be a deadline for all quotes, endorsements and renewals shortly, keep your eyes open for this communication notice via email.
• We will have a blackout date on our current broker portal for maintenance and preparation for our new one. More information to follow via email.

At this time, there will be no further action required on your end, other than to move to our new portal on the go-live date! Your login and access will be there ready for you to start quoting and binding online.

NEW Direct Bill Payment Options

Effective immediately, Agile Underwriting Solutions offers new Direct Bill options for our policy holders through our partnership with First Insurance Funding of Canada.

Options include monthly payments by withdrawal from their financial institution or payment in full.

We accept full payment by cheque payable to Agile Underwriting Solutions, credit card (subject to service fee of 2.97%) or bill payment from some banks - BMO, RBC and most credit unions (Payee – Guardian Risk Managers and account number is the last 8 digits of the policy number).

Some important notes for your clients:

• The monthly payment plan interest rate is charged by First Insurance Funding as per the current Bank of Canada rates and subject to change without notice. The rate will be listed on quote.
• Monthly payment plan minimum annual premium is $350

Should your clients wish to take advantage of our direct bill payment plan options, please provide the following information to our accounting team at accounting@agileuw.ca:

• Client name and address
• Annual premium amount
• Policy number
• Date for monthly payments (a fee will apply if a change to the withdrawal date is required)

This is an alert to notify you of Agile's position on accepting new business in areas affected by wildfire or flood.

With respect to wildfire, we will not accept any new business or endorsement limit/coverage increases within the following area of an active wildfire:

• Protected - within 50KM
• Semi-Protected - within 50KM
• Unprotected - within 150KM

Please note that we will not decline to renew existing business due to a wildfire.

With respect to flood, we will not accept any new business or endorsement limit/coverage increases to a risk that is in a flooding area, flood evacuation area, or a flood watch area along with a high stream advisory.

Please note we will not decline to renew existing business due to floods.
