Agile Underwriting Solutions offers monthly payment plan and payment in full for our Direct Bill policy holders. Payment plans are provided through our partnership with First Insurance Funding of Canada (FIF) for policies with premium $350 or higher.

Payment Plan Details – New Business

*NEW* New Business Policies

  • All new direct bill policies will have FIF quote generated automatically through our portal
  • Once a new business quote is bound as direct bill, the portal will ask for client phone number, email and preferred payment date. Once inputted, select complete quote. You will be given a link to both the quote pdf document or the esignature page. Have client fill out quote electronically or manually through these options and forward to once completed.

Full Payment Options:

  • Credit card (service fee of 2.97%) – Go to - select No Policy Payment ID and fill in client information to make payment
  • Cheque – Payable to Agile Underwriting Solutions and mail to Suite 1000 – 9850 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC, V3T 0P9
  • Bill payment from selected institutions – BMO, RBC, Tangerine, PC Financial and most credit unions – Payee = Guardian Risk Managers and account# is policy number starting at 5

Non First Canada (FIF) Renewals – Past years could be previous 1 pay or on Agile internal payment plan

- Should your client wish to take advatange of FIF payment plan on policy renewal, please email the following details to to have quote created:

  • Client Name
  • Annual premium amount
  • Policy number
  • Preferred Payment Date (Please ensure this is correct - a fee will apply if a change to the withdrawal date is required after plan is setup)

FIF Renewals

If your client had a FIF plan last year, we will renew the payment plan once the policy is renewed in the portal. Unless emailed changes, we will renew with all the same information as the past year.

Other FIF Details:

  • The monthly payment plan interest rate is charged by FIRST Insurance Funding of Canada. The rate is based on current market conditions, risk factors, and loan terms. The rate will be listed on each quote and remains fixed for the duration of the loan.
  • Please do NOT collect down payment – FIF will withdrawal down payment and/or outstanding past due installments from client account within 2 days of receiving completed quote.
  • FIF will send notices to client by either email or postal mail. For fastest communication, please ensure updated email is on file with FIF
  • If signed electronically, documents will send to FIF.

Agile Underwriting Solutions Wildfire & Flood Notice

This is an alert to notify you of Agile's position on accepting new business in areas affected by wildfire or flood.

With respect to wildfire, we will not accept any new business or endorsement limit/coverage increases within the following area of an active wildfire:

  • Protected - within 50KM
  • Semi-Protected - within 50KM
  • Unprotected - within 150KM

Please note that we will not decline to renew existing business due to a wildfire.
